National Lutheran Schools WeekPNG
18 - 24 May 2008
Lutheran schools throughout Australia are preparing for a week of celebration under the theme Engage, connect, build and sustain.  The mission project for 2008 focuses on support for Lutheran schools in Papua New Guinea.  Staff and students are encouraged to make a difference by raising awareness of the realities of life and education in PNG and contribute to fundraising efforts through the mission project.  National Lutheran Schools Week provides an opportunity to reflect on those things that Lutheran schools have in common.   A range of NLSW resources have been developed.
Let's celebrate the wonderful blessings we enjoy through Lutheran Schools!

Values for Lutheran schoolsCompassion
During National Lutheran Schools Week, schools are reminded of the values cards available from the LLL.  Separate cards depict each of the ten values for Lutheran schools: love, justice, compassion, forgiveness, service, courage, humility, hope, quality, appreciation.   These values cards can be sighted and ordered from the LLL Website www.lll.org.au and click onto Lutheran Tract Mission and then NEW RESOURCES.
