CL 1.1 God loves each person

June 12, 2017

This unit demonstrates one approach that can be taken with Reception students and the Christian Living key idea: Christians believe that God creates people to live in relationship with him and with each other.

Grounded in the story of creation, the unit moves on to establish the concept of uniqueness. From there students meet people from the Old testament and discover God’s love and care for them. In the New Testament students encounter Jesus’ love through several parables. By way of interviews, people in the school community share what God’s love means to them. Students collate what they have learned for their class library.
