CC 4.1 Cultural and historical contexts of scripture

June 30, 2017

The tasks support student inquiry into the cultural and historical contexts of scripture. The tasks were designed with Year 8 students in mind

Tasks involve students in biblical exploration: using the Bible, examining and analysing parts of the Bible, and reflection on their discoveries as they search to find out and understand more about biblical context and its relevance for today. The tasks support the key idea CC1: 'Christians believe the Bible is God’s Word' and, in particular, the outcome CC 4.1.
