Join the LEA team as a casual marker

May 24, 2024

LEA is seeking expressions of interest for additional Connect and Equip ePortfolio markers from leaders and/or teachers in Lutheran schools and Early Childhood Services (ECS).

Our casual marking pool provides opportunity for teachers to experience the assessment and moderation of ePortfolios, provide assistance and guidance to teachers, and to network with other like-minded people in the Lutheran system.

We are seeking additional registered teachers with a relevant postgraduate Masters level qualification. Please note the following:

  • Connect markers are to be accredited by LEA as a leader (Al).
  • Equip markers will require LEA accreditation as a Christian Studies teacher and leader (ACL).
  • Knowledge and experience of Lutheran theology and its application to educational contexts is important.
  • You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and be willing to make decisions.
  • Equip markers will require high level knowledge and experience in the teaching of Christian Studies and working with the CSCF.

As a casual marker, you will receive appropriate remuneration for your time spent marking ePortolios.

For further information please contact sue.kupke@lutheran.edu.au. Expressions of interest close Friday 5 July 2024.
