The Australian Conference on Lutheran Education is coming up in Brisbane from 30 September to 3 October 2025.
Are you based in Queensland, work within Lutheran Education and would like to demonstrate national leadership by being on one of the planning committees?
Please express your interest by 21 June 2024. We are looking for volunteers for the following committees:
Worship and Spiritual Program Committee
- all worship events organisation
- ACLE 7 conference chaplain/s support
- Worship theme/s
- Meditation / prayer room and support
Educational Program Committee
- develop the program structure
- have a vision for the style and content of the Educational Program
- select keynote speakers in collaboration with convenor, Organising Committee (OC) and with reference to the budget
- coordinate the call for papers, abstract review, and selection of papers
- liaise with the Professional Conference Organisation (PCO) in developing the program detail including session chairs etc
Social Program Committee
- welcome reception
- making new connections activities
- delegate information packages / badges / welcome
- conference dinner, especially menu selection and guest speaker / entertainment
- partners events
- adjunct tours and events
Participation on committees is voluntary and it will be assumed that committee members will be attending ACLE at their school/ECS or own expense.

If you are willing to Chair a committee, please indicate this in your EOI and include a statement of support from your Principal/Director or Chair recognising release for a significant time commitment. Chairs also sit on the ACLE7 Organising Committee.
