What does it mean to be a Free to flourish focus school or early childhood service?
A letter to all Principals and Directors has been posted with the exciting and innovative Free to flourish pack. Included with the letter is an Expression of Interest nomination for schools who would like to take part in the initial focus group of Free to flourish.
Sue Kupke, Director of Formation, and the regional staff will work with focus schools and early childhood services as they explore and experiment with Free to flourish. Up to two visits a term will occur with focus being on the provision of support, collaboration and the development of resources for the wider Lutheran Education system.
As Free to flourish focus schools and early childhood services create, implement and share ways of using Free to flourish, they will:
- Create a shared vision and language across all Lutheran schools and early childhood services about learners, learning and learning communities
- Be a catalyst for learning renewal through a Lutheran lens so that all schools and early childhood services further engage in considering and addressing the needs of learners and learning in their context as they prepare students and children for a complex world
- Promote cohesive connection, collaboration and conversation around learners and learning in Lutheran schools and early childhood service
Interested schools and early childhood services are invited to submit an expression of interest via email to Lutheran Education Australia at lea@lutheran.edu.au by COB December 8 2023.
