Under Construction - BER Projects
Below are some of the exciting projects being undertaken by schools in our region under the
Building Education Revolution.

Living Waters Lutheran College, WA - Warnbro Campus
The Multipurpose Gym is due for completion in October 2010. Steel trusses recently installed for the roof are making it finally look like a real building!

Ocean Forest Lutheran College – Dalyellup (Bunbury) WA
The “Jewel of the South”, Ocean Forest has grown rapidly in a mission environment, boasting substantial and beautiful buildings with more to come in the next few years.
The Resource Centre will be completed in June. In the background (photo left) you can just see the state of the art Primary School section, and the photo (right) features the middle school. |

Good Shepherd Lutheran College - Palmerston & Howard Springs NT
The two BER projects at the Palmerston Primary Campus are the Multipurpose Hall and the Language Centre, both due for completion this term. The Language Centre (for the implementation of German and Japanese languages) at the Middle and Senior Campus in Howard Springs was completed in Term 1.

St Andrew Lutheran School, Leanyer (Darwin) NT has refurbished a classroom block, one of the original 1985 buildings on the Leanyer site, which now has a kitchenette and toilets and a modern, fresh feel. The new library is currently being constructed. This is joining on to the current library/computer room which, when finished, will house a computer hub, teacher resource area and a learning support room.

Golden Grove Lutheran School - Wynn Vale
Golden Grove are building a new administration block of approximately 400 sq metres. This will release spaces for science and art, OSHC, classrooms and ICT. The estimated completion date is October this year.

Crossways Lutheran School, Ceduna, are currently refurbishing & building an extension to the existing Junior School building, providing two additional classrooms, storage and a large multi purpose learning space. Additionally a canopy is being built linking the main buildings to provide a large undercover area.

Lobethal Lutheran School have been able to replace roofing & gutters, paint classrooms, install a new shade sail over one playground and upgrade the netball/basketball courts. A new footpath and steps were also constructed and two Interactive Whiteboards have been installed.

Navigator College - Pt Lincoln has built 2 classrooms for Yr 8 and 9 students under the School Pride funding and is in the process of building a Resource Centre, comprising of a library, computer room and multi-purpose room under the P21 project.

Unity College - Murray Bridge have recently completed some outdoor learning / shelter areas. The next projects, due for completion in June, are a Language Discovery Centre, a multi media room and facilities for cooking and practical work. An Indoor Sports Stadium / multi purpose venue is expected to be completed by the end of 2010.

Tatachilla Lutheran College
-McLaren Vale
will have a Multi Purpose Facility which is scheduled for completion by the end of Term 3 2010. The project commenced late last year.

Endeavour College
- Mawson Lakes
Endeavour have built a new Music Suite. The facility provides an additional 2 classrooms, with another 62 computers.

Our Saviour Lutheran School
- Aberfoyle Park
Our Saviour's facility will have a joint Sports/ Arts focus, including an Art Room and a Dance Studio on a mezzanine. |
