Neville Tom Highett PhD, MEd, BEd, GradDipEdAdmin, DipT(Sec), DipT (Primy) FACEL

Neville Highett joined Lutheran schools in 1999 as Principal of Immanuel College, Novar Gardens SA.  His prior service in education commenced in 1964 and he served in a variety of roles including primary school teacher, secondary school teacher, subject senior, principal, Inspector of Schools, and Principal Education Officer, in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.  Since his retirement Neville has run his own private consultancy specializing in school reviews, strategic planning, and reviews of educational programs within large schools and government departments and private companies.


Brett Andrew Hausler

Brett Hausler is Company Secretary and General Counsel at Australian Energy Market Operater (AEMO) in Melbourne Vic. Brett manages the company secretarial, legal, risk management, audit, compliance and registration affairs and functions of the business.  Brett’s previous responsibilities include oversight of other corporate functions including finance, human resources and corporate affairs.  AEMO manages the gas and electricity markets, power system security and the long term planning for Australia’s energy needs.


Lisa Schmidt  BSc, BSc(Hons), GradCertEd(Higher Ed), PhD

Lisa Schmidt is Senior Lecturer in Higher Education, Centre for University Teaching, Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at Flinders University.


Thomas Bohmert  BTh, GradDipMin, GradDipEd, Certificate in Quantity Surveying, Certificate in Applied Linguistics.

Thomas Bohmert is an ordained pastor of the Lutheran Church of Australia.  He was born in Dresden in East Germany, migrated to West Germany in 1983 and to New Zealand in 1986 where he worked in and studied Quantity Surveying. In 1990 he commenced study at Luther Seminary and was ordained in Christchurch in 1995.  He has served Laura (1995-98), Hermannsburg (FRM, 1998-99), Burnie, Tasmania (2000-2003), Luther College (2003-2009), Bordertown (2009-2015), and is now school pastor at St Peters Lutheran College Indooroopilly.
He has a keen interest in Christian education and ministry to young people in the 21st century.
